We all know mobile is the future, the time will come when you leave your house the only thing you will need to take with you is your smartphone, it will be your keys, wallet, I.D and much more.
Which ever discipline of marketing you work in, you will need to know about mobile marketing at some point in the near future, chances are you already are having to learn about mobile marketing.
If there is one book you read on mobile marketing, then I would recommend this one, Mobile Marketing: An Hour a Day.
The book covers everything you need to know about mobile marketing. It starts off explaining the opportunity mobile presents and the current market. The following chapters then provide you with an in depth, yet accessible guide to creating a mobile strategy for your business.
The book is co-authored by Rachel Pasqua, VP of mobile at global marketing agency iCrossing, she has over 15 years experience in the mobile industry, and Noah Elkin, a principle analyst at eMarketer, where he helps clients understand the latest developments in mobile.
They have both drawn on their experience and expertise, as well as that of other experts in the industry and combined this with a wealth of data to produce a comprehensive guide to mobile marketing.
I have previously come across the “An Hour a Day” series, but this was the first one I have had the opportunity to read, you have to read an hour a day for 60 days, each chapter is broken down to provide you with enough information to digest in an hour.
“Everything elvolves. Change is Good. You just have to be prepared.”
With tips, examples and case studies this book should definitely be on your ‘read list’, or on your bookshelf as your go to guide for mobile marketing.
