Sponsta is a new tool that helps you find Instagram influencers who have upwards of 10,000 followers.
The soft launch contains over 7,000 Instagram users. There are various filters including category, location, gender, age and number of followers. You can also filter by price starting at $100 through to a $1000.
Sponsta say they already reach 300 million users and have plans to increase their current number of users to 35,000 next year as well as extend the platform to Youtube and Snapchat.
Once you find and influence you would like to work with, you can contact them directly to pitch and negotiate. Sponsta charges an additional 15% fee on top of the price agreed.
Instagram announced this year they now have 14 million active users in the UK and 300 million active users globally of which 70% are from the US.
Brands are increasingly looking to influencers on social media platforms such as Instagram to amplify their content through ambassadors as part of their Instagram marketing strategy.
Sponsta aims to help marketers save the time it normally takes to find these influencers manually. McDonald’s and PriceRunner have already started to use the platform.
Created by Philip Bock, former M&C SAATCHI creative, Daniel J. Mierzewinski and Bo Winther last year, Sponsta comes at a time when the traditional advertising model is evolving and the digital ad industry is expected to make up 35% of all $170 billion global advertising spend by 2018.
Instagram users with a large following can also earn a steady stream of income, if done right.
Philip Bock, CEO of Sponsta commented: ‘We’re thrilled to be launching Sponsta during a time when influencer marketing is continuing to grow exponentially. We spotted a gap in the market with brands and agencies wasting valuable time and resource trying to identify and work with a number of influencers on an individual basis, and are excited to bring to market a solution for the problem.’
