In addition to Vodafone customers being able to pay for their fares, the taxis will also feature mobile phone chargers fitted available to all passengers and will support all mobile phones in a bid to keep London calling.

Today the first of hundreds of Vodafone branded taxis have hit the streets of London, branded with the Union Jack, made up of over 2000 London street names, making them easy to spot. These will also be followed by a fleet Vodafone branded Heathrow Express trains.

To use the service Vodafone customers just need to register to pay by calling 0845 680 3409. Once registered customers will be able to pay by phone or text, by noting the taxi number. The phone calls and texts will be FREE with no service charges.
