Samsung have announced the addition of new OLED gaming monitors to its popular Odyssey lineup which will be debuting at CES 2024 in Las Vegas.

The new models include the 49-inch curved Odyssey OLED G9, the flat 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8, and the 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6.

The Odyssey OLED G9 offers an ultra-wide 49-inch screen with DQHD (5,120 x 1,440) resolution, 32:9 aspect ratio and a 240Hz refresh rate for incredibly smooth and immersive gaming. The OLED G8 is Samsung’s first flat 32-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio, also featuring a 240Hz refresh rate. The OLED G6 has a 27-inch QHD screen with a 360Hz refresh rate.

All three new Odyssey OLED models will utilize OLED Glare-Free technology to minimize reflections and provide consistent image quality in any lighting conditions. VESA DisplayHDR True Black ensures deep blacks and vivid colors no matter what game or content is on screen.

These new gaming monitors are packed with features for the ultimate gaming experience. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support will enable smooth HDR gameplay, while two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub and DisplayPort deliver comprehensive physical connectivity. The height adjustable stand allows for ergonomic viewing angles too.

Unique capabilities like Multi Control provide seamless connectivity between the monitor and Samsung devices like Galaxy phones, tablets and laptops. The monitors also include a built-in SmartThings Hub for easy IoT device control. With the Samsung Smart TV platform and Samsung Gaming Hub on board, you can access cloud gaming and streaming without any downloads or PC/console required.

In terms of design, Samsung has added elegant flat OLED options to the lineup for the first time. The OLED G8 and G6 boast a sleek 16:9 aspect ratio. All models feature a slim metal frame with new Core Lighting+ ambient lighting that synchronizes with on-screen content.
